One month after announcing this year’s programme, the Birdwatching & Nature Activities Fest announces that registration opened today, 1 September, for the largest bird- and nature-themed event in the country, which will take place from 1 to 5 October in Sagres, Algarve.
In the programme, which is available on the Festival website – www.birdwatchingsagres.com – you will find over 230 activities for families and nature lovers, including veritable successes from previous editions as well as completely new ones.
Among the highlights in this 13th edition are activities such as the Megalithic Sunset, focused on cultural and archaeological heritage, the session on the diet of birds of prey, the talk about fishing without bycatch, a workshop on identifying Sagres insects, and fieldtrips focused on less common birds.
With activities all around Sagres peninsula, the Sagres Birdwatching & Nature Activities Festival invites participants to discover the South West Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
